school tomorrow

i really dont understand that Richard.. why.. in all that is holy, make us go back to school at 9am in the morning just for netfund!?!? i mean.. ITS NEW YEAR'S EVE!! i have a renewed hatred for him.. idiot..

anyway, woke up at 1 today and just slacked around the house for the entire day.. didnt do anything at all lah.. so boring.. zz.. only left at about 5 to go to NSRCC to bowl.. when we got there, it was raining damn heavily.. and all the people who would otherwise be swimming, all flocked to the bowling alley.. so.. FULL HOUSE!!

dammit..

waited DAMN long for lanes lah.. but when we finally got it, we bowled with my neighbour.. lol.. my release is really improving.. now more consistant.. i like my ball roll now.. and today, after working abit more on it, my releases all became silent.. and consistantly silent ok.. haha.. damn cool!! now i look like a PRO!! LOL!! 180 average today.. went for dinner with my neighbour at poolside before heading home

day out

woke up quite early today.. about 10.30.. went to simlim with dad and walked around for abit.. wanted to get my Hoya IR-72.. but still no stock!! waited like sooo long for it already lah!!


so went over to safra mount faber to bowl.. the lanes were SUPER oily.. and the approach weird.. so i only bowled 1 game before stopping.. so just hung around the alley while my bro and dad bowled..

at about 4+, we left the alley and dad fetched me to suntec city to meet baby and friends.. we sat down at starbucks coffee and chatted till 7 before leaving for dinner at the food court.. most of the topics were quite mature in content.. haha!

after dinner, we planned to go to the roof garden at the esplanade.. but it was closed.. so we went to the large area outside marina square and sat around playing truth or dare.. there were 6 people altogether, and 2 couples.. haha.. so everytime we 'kena', theres sure to be some weird dare.. haha!

woke up quite early today.. 8am in fact.. got to bedok interchange at about 9+ and waited for baby to arrive.. we then took 69 to TP and went to cyber center to sign up for our CDS.. wanted to do this in school as the cyber center's computers would be connected to the school's server by intranet.. so it'll be super fast.. haha.. choose our cds and then took a bus to CS to play mario cart..

took a train down to vivo city with baby and met up with her friends.. booked 2pm tickets for I Am Legend and then went for lunch.. walked around for awhile before going for the movie.. the movie was alright.. alot of action scenes.. dont watch it if you have a weak heart.. you could have a heart attack! haha..

our group seperated after the movie.. me and baby went down to candy empire to meet baby's cousin.. 1st time meeting her.. so got drilled by her.. LOL!! basically asked alot of questions about us.. but overall, i think she's a nice person.. very funny.. haha! went back home while baby and cousin continued shopping.. got to safra tampines at 7 to bowl with Glen and Wei Yan.. bowled quite badly mainly because the approach was SOOOOO slippery.. haha..

went back home and then out again at about 10 to NSRCC to bowl more.. the approach was alot better there.. so bowled better also! haha.. got back home at about 1+ after supper at 802..

woke up at 1.30 today!! hahaha.. no one woke me up.. so i just continued to sleep and sleep.. lol.. did nothing much for the whole day.. watched alvin and the chipmunks on my computer and generaly slacked around..

went to ding tai fong with dad and bro for dinner.. had their pork chop noodles and xiao long bao.. went to NSRCC to bowl after that.. my bowling form was quite bad recently.. but i managed to locate the problem and solve it! haha.. the problem was that my thumb was coming out too early.. so rectified the error and bowled 222 back to back! haha!! 1st time ever bowling 2 high games in a row.. let alone same score! thats about it.. waking up early tomorrow to go to school.. got to be early to get my desired CDS and elective!!!

day out!

spent almost the whole day out today.. woke up early in the morning to meet my jap group mates to discuss about our presentation which is due 3 weeks after school reopens.. met Freddie at compass point macs and then moved up to the library where Serene joined us.. we discussed our project for about 2 hrs before we all left.. i went back home to have lunch before heading out again to tampines MRT controll station to meet Dickson..

we took the train all the way to city hall, and switched to the red line and took to the train to yio chu kang to meet alfred.. we planned on walking to lower pierce reservoir.. but we got lost.. so we hailed a cab and took it to somewhere near it.. alighted, and started shooting our IR shots.. we didnt really reach the reservoir.. but we followed a hiking trail into the forest area.. took alot of great shots on the way too.. got alot of mosquito bites also -.-"

walked for about 4 - 5km and came accross the road right infront of the island country club.. LOTS of cool cars were passing by lah.. we saw at LEAST 5 Porches, countless BMWs, Mercs, Lexuses and Audis, one Messarati, and the best of all, A BENTLY CONTINENTAL GT.. OMG!!! that car is HOT!!

anyway.. walked right out of the forest and took a bus out to hougang mall to have dinner at some la mian restraunt that Alfred suggested..

first month

happy 1st month baby

spent the whole day with baby today.. met her at about 1.30 below her block and we went to east coast park to have a stroll.. walked quite a distance before it started to rain.. so we took shelter under one of the stops and waited till the rain subsided.. we then walked over to one of the many underpasses along the park and crossed over to the HDB area.. we stoped under a sheltered play area and chatted for awhile

at about 3+, we walked over to a bus stop near to PP and waited for 36 which took us to plaza singapura.. once there, we took the escalator down to the basement to have a look at the handphone straps at couple lab.. since ours is already kinda spoilt, we were considering changing to new ones.. haha.. after that, went right up to the 6th floor to Sharon's mum's nasi padang stall to look for her.. but she wasnt there when we arrived.. so i smsed her and found out that she was actually opposite PS in a church.. so me and baby just hung around PS and walked around till she came back.. went back up after walking every floor with baby and had a chat with AUNTY Sharon..

took bus 16 frm outside PS to Kallang Leisure Park to have a look around.. alot of shops are still not open even though its been over a month since i've last been there.. haha.. left there at about 7.30 and took 16 again to opposite katong mall.. walked over to Astons Prime to have our dinner.. it was quite packed.. so luckily we had reservations! haha.. we ordered the 14oz Astons Prime Rib and requested that it be cut into 2 portions.. 1 medium rare for me, and one medium for baby.. ordered aston's speciality fries to go along with it..

sent baby home after dinner and then went back home myself.. reached at 11 on the dot! LOL!

x'mas eve!

hmmm.. so lets see what i did today for christmas eve.. NOTHING!! haha.. so exciting right.. anyway.. woke up at 1 after nearly 12 hrs of sleep and just hung around the house doing nothing for the whole day lah.. so boring..

only went out at about 7+ for dinner.. i called Astons Prime (new, higher-class astons outlet) yesterday to reserve a place for 2 for tomorrow (christmas and our 1st month).. so i thought we'd drop by today to have a look.. we were expecting a cue.. so wasnt really planning to have dinner there.. but since there were seats available, we decided to dine there.. the food was excelent.. i had their signature grain-fed beef ribs.. the whole 400g of it (it was boneless.. so imagine a slab of pure ecstacy about 2 palms wide, 1 palm long, and 1 inch thick).. it costs quite alot.. 39.90 for 1 piece.. but it was totally worth it!! it was cooked to perfection.. medium rare with quite abit of raw in the center.. and cooked outer edges imbued with red wine.. dad had the pork chops and bro had the alfredo..

went to NSRCC after dinner but didnt bowl.. had a blister.. besides.. my form is getting worse.. so i think i'll stop for awhile.. went around the club and took some long exposure shots of the swimming pool when it was closed..

i normally update my blog at about 1 or 2 in the morning.. but since i've got nothing to do, i'll not wait then! haha..

woke up at about 11.45 today and slacked around the house till about 1+ when we had lunch.. mum cooked porridge and dad went to da pao some stuff from the kuay chap stall.. after lunch, slacked around summore and played com.. found alot of VCers blogs that i didnt know of.. haha.. linked them all.. check them out at the side --->

at about 4+, dad and me went to tamp MRT station to pick up Shu Xian before heading over to NSRCC.. booked lanes at 5pm.. was supposed to meet Dickson, Suan Yang and his sister there.. but Dickson didnt show because he said it was raining.. haha!

all 4 of us bowled 4 games apiece.. i brought all my equipment there.. so i spidered my tripod right next to the lanes (1 and 2) and attatched the flash to it.. the good thing was that i didnt have to stay there to fire the shots.. i can use my remote!! haha.. got some shots of everyone bowling.. maybe i'll upload them later if im not too tired..

Woke up at 12+ today and slacked around the house for the whole afternoon.. bro was in escape with his friends and only me and dad was at home.. didnt have lunch at all till we left for the bowling alley at about 3.45.. ate curry chicken with rice at the poolside cafe and then went to bowl..
bowled quite badly today.. dont know how come.. my form suddenly went from ok-ok to totally non existant.. whats happening to me... still, managed a 21X..

bro joined me and dad after awhile and we bowled abit more.. stoped after awhile and slacked around the alley thinking of stuff.. actually.. i spent my whole entire day thinking of stuff.. maybe thats why my bowling is totally chui..

went out to the gallery to surf the net with Melvin and Alex.. called baby.. felt abit better after that.. so went to have dinner and then bowled with Melvin and gang.. very stressful bowling with all the pros.. advice coming from all directions and messing up my game.. haha.. went back home at about 11.45..

woke up at about 11 today and hitched a ride with mum and dad to tampines mall.. booked 2 tickets to the 3.45 screening of national treasure.. went home after that and slacked around till abt 2.45 before heading back to TM to wait for baby.. waited for like half an hour lah.. haha..

walked around for abit as it was still kinda early.. when it was about time, we went back up to the cinema and got seated.. the movie was quite good.. action packed and full of excitement.. kinda funny as well.. LOL!!

went back home with baby and watched enchanted on my computer.. sent her back after the movie and then came back home again

woke up at about 11 today and was supposed to go get ready to meet Dickson to go to clementi for UnO3.. but when i turned on my phone, i received an SMS from Alfred saying that UnO was canceled on account of rain.. haha! so i went back to sleep.. woke up again at about 12+..

went to have kuay chap for lunch at round market before heading to NSRCC to bowl.. i didnt bowl for like 6 days already loh.. so bowled kinda lousily.. we bowled till about 4 before heading back home.. i slacked about the house and played dai di with my bro till abt 5 before heading to my mums shop to have a haircut.. went to civil servants club for indian food.. bowled a couple at planet bowl also.. first time bowling there.. wooden brunswicks.. approach as slippery as ice and lane as oily as fried chicken.. bowled at 18X highest only..

day 2 and last day of UnC2

went to simlim with Alfred, Dickson and Kai Xin.. bumped into dad outside HI-V and then went to Alan Photo to get my IR filter.. sadly, their stock hasent come in.. so didnt get anything.. walked we planned to go to funan to see if theres stock at the other Alan outlet and have pepper lunch.. but changed our minds as it was too far.. so we detoured to Miss Clarity Cafe to have lunch.. collected me and baby's rings en route to the cafe..

Dickson and Alfred had the crispy black pepper chicken, Kai Xin had the vegetarian pasta, and i had the chicken ballotine.. which is essentially a ngoh hiang like thing with mushrooms in the middle.. didnt really like the food.. but the ambiance was all right i suppose..

Kai Xin went back home while the rest of us went back to school.. didnt do anything much till about 7 when some main comms called us and asked one of us to go down to sports hall with a camera.. so i volunteered and went down with the D2Xs with a Nikkor 17-55 f/2.8 attatched.. when i got there, i was asked to shoot a macro of some worm that they found in the rice.. totally unprepared, i was forced to return to cyber to get the Nikkor 105 f/2.8 micro.. haha.. got a really good shot of the worm.. freaked the main comms out.. LOL!

went back to cyber for awhile and then out again to shoot the night walk.. i took the D300 this time with Dickson's sigma 17-70 2.8 macro.. the event didnt really last long as there was practically nothing to shoot.. so went back to cyber and then up to the darkroom for Delia's solarisation workshop.. went for supper at prata paradise after that and then back to cc.. most of the guys went to bathe while me and Dickson went up to the darkroom again to develop his roll of expired film.. developed a few more shots before disposing the chemicals.. went back down and played some card games with the people in cc before going to sleep..

woke up at 8.45 and decided to go home to sleep some more.. i was only sechduled to shoot at night.. so i packed up and mum fetched me home.. slept from dunnu what time till 5 when i woke up.. went outside and found out that dad bought me a tripod.. some china brand.. haha.. i dont care.. at least i can use my ball head now! haha.. went to school and was preparing to shoot when i was informed that the final clash was canceled.. haha!! i went to school for nothing lah.. so i helped with the packing up before we all went to TM's pizza hut for dinner..

we did something really funny today.. we finished our pizza and Dickson was still hungry.. so Sharon took the neighbouring table's unfinished pizza for him.. LOL!! went back home after that

3 in 1 again

didnt update for the past 2 days because of my on going events.. 2 days ago, i was still in malaysia and didnt get another 2 hours of broadband time.. haha.. yesterday, i just got back from malaysia and just got to school for TPVC's UnC 2.. haha.. so didnt have time to update..

anyway, in malaysia, day 2.. didnt do anything much lah.. just went shopping for the whole day.. went for lunch with my dad's friend and then headed to KLCC to shop.. didnt buy anything there.. all i did was to develop my expired film.. turned out like crap lah! haha.. went to midvalley megamall after KLCC and also, didnt buy anything much.. bought another rubik's cube from the toys'r'us and also the mini rubik's keychain.. walked around some more and bought some stuff for baby..

went to petaling street at night for dinner and just a quick look around.. bought some badges and went home.. the next day, met David again and went for lunch with his family.. had durian before hitting the road.. stopped by ayer keroh on the way back and bought myself an adidas jacket from the sports shop..


journey home took 4 hours and there was a jam at the singaporean customs.. so only got to school at about 11.45.. when i got there, CC was locked and everyone was having supper at prata paradise opposite school -.-" so waited for them to get back and then went in.. followed Alfred around the schools and helped him with his night walk.. scared Sharon countless number of times.. haha.. was about to pull off one super big one but then they were too scared and went back to CC.. hiaz.. haha!

spent the night awake in CC and only got about an hour of sleep.. dont think im going to go back to sleep already.. me, Alfred and Dickson are going down to simlim awhile later to get my IR filter..

in malaysia

blogging from my room (1703) in hotel Armada in Petaling Jaya Malaysia.. paid 25rm for 2 hrs of connectivity just now!

anyway.. woke up at 7.30 and fetched Lucky to my uncle's house.. had breakfast and then set off to malaysia via 2nd link.. stopped only twice during the whole 4 hour journey to KL.. checked into the hotel, and then went out to times square via taxi..

got there and followed dad to his friend's shop.. got to try the Nikon D300 like FINALLY!! hahahahahahaha....... LOL! i also taught the shop's staff how to set the custom white balance on the cameras.. wtf man.. shop staff dunnu how to set the white balance!? haha..

walked around the building and met up with my buddy frm malaysia, David.. had hazelnut hot choc at starbucks before heading over to Sungei Wang to shop some more.. i was looking at all the camera shops there.. and only a few actually sell professional tripods.. wtf? and summore, theres not even 1 manfrotto merchandise for sale lah.. haha.. saw a shop selling leica cameras and lens.. 1st time seeing it.. haha..

went for dinner before heading back to the hotel..

FINALLY!! TTs ARE OVER!! wahahahahahahahahahaha

woke up at 9.30 today and got to school at about 11.45.. Dickson was supposed to meet me there at 12 but he only turned up at 1.15 -.-" we were supposed to go up to the darkroom to try out some new methods of processing.. but he had a seminar at 1.30.. so scratched that idea.. me and Darwis slacked around till about 2.15 when Delia came in.. she wanted to go up and try out solarisation for the darkroom.. so we went up!

had test at 3.30.. so had to leave kinda early and went to engine to sit for telsys.. the paper was damn hard lah.. when the clock turned exactly 4pm, about 10 people left the room.. LOL!! i went back to the darkroom and watched Dickson and Delia develop more pics before going to ITAS to collect my ophix shirt from Nick Cheong.. after that, went with Alfred to try if my camera is IR capable.. im happy to say, IT IS!! hahahahahahahaha.......

went to peninsula with Dickson and Alfred via taxi and Dickson bought his Cokin IR filter from cathay.. i wanted to get my Hoya IR72 but everywhere's out of stock.. dammit.. haha.. so met baby and friend outside macs at parco and we went to get our rings done.. the lady said that the rings will be ready in 3 days.. but we were both busy.. so we're getting it next thursday!!

went to swenson's for dinner.. had grilled fish sambal and shared a chocolate fondue with baby.. took bus home and then took cab to NSRCC to meet bro and dad to bowl a few..

im leaving for Malaysia tomorrow.. will be there for 2 nights.. after i come back, theres the VC UnC2.. so have to stay in CC for another 2 nights.. i dont know if i can update during these few days.. so bare with me!

woke up at 11.30 today and got to school at about 1.. was supposed to meet Dickson at CC but met him on the way there instead.. haha! got my lens box from him but he couldnt find his quick release for the ball head.. so im stuck with the ballhead but i cant use it =(

we wanted to go use the darkroom but Pand Hock AND Humpfrey were both on mc.. so i smsed PH and asked him if it was possible to use it.. meanwhile, Dickson went to his lab and i went to meet KaiWen to collect my cash from him (i sold him my iPod Nano).. he rode into school on his new bike which he got for his birthday.. after collecting the money, i suggested that we do a photoshoot for it.. haha.. so we shot abit and then went back to mensa for a drink..

met Dickson at cyber and we both went up to the 2nd floor to get the key for the darkroom.. met uncle Sam there and spent about 15 mins talking to him about a photo comp coming up.. cannot reveal too much here.. haha

anyway, went up to the darkroom and prepared the chemicals for developing and exposed a few shots before Alfred came up to join us.. we went back down to mensa 2 to have lunch.. had chef's salad, scrambled eggs on toast, and a bowl of clam chowder before heading back up to the darkroom.. we tried exposing the A3 sized paper but failed.. haha.. wasted all 3 of the paper..

after we were done, we had the usual headache of where to put the chemicals before heading our seperate ways.. Alfred went to have dinner by himself while me and Dickson went to the library to do some research about photo developing.. Dad picked me up shortly after and we went to 802 to have frog's legs..

day 3 of TTs

woke up at 10.45 today and got to school at around 12+.. went to cyber and met Darwis at the door.. went inside and just slacked around till about 1 when Dickson came.. i got my lens from him but not the box and the quick release.. haha.. mark joined us and we studied for TTs together for awhile before Alfred came in and we all went to mensa.. didnt have anything to eat.. just sat around playing with my 50mm 1.8..

went to the library to meet mark and clique and then went to bread board to have lunch before heading to exam venue.. the test was quite easy.. confident of a pass.. thats 3 tests in the bag already! 1 more to go!!

went to look for Dickson, Sharon and Alfred at funan after school.. took 23 to outside simlim and walked all the way to funan.. met them at food court and walked around abit.. visited Alvin at john 3:16.. we then went over to Ruby's to get some photopaper before we all went our seperate ways.. i took the train with Dickson till tanah merah where i took the NSRCC shuttle bus for the 1st time!! lol..

dad and bro was bowling in the league.. so i sat around with Lu Fang who was there with Theodore..

2nd day of TTs

woke up at 12.30 today and got ready to go to school for my 2nd paper, netfund. dad fetched me to school at about 3 and i got there at about 3.15. went into the exam venue and got seated after some confusion as to where i was supposed to seat..

the exam was quite ok.. it was unexpectedly easy.. so i think theres hope for netfund yet.. went to cc after the test.. Alfred and Darwis were there and we chatted for abit before heading over to mensa for a snack.. tried the lamb shoulder.. quite ok apart from all the bones which makes for an unglam and messy meal.. Dickson joined us at mensa and we all went back down to cyber for awhile before heading up to the darkroom to meet PH

we did a small stock take in the darkroom.. i thought initially that we've run out of stop bath.. but Dickson managed to find about 5 unused bottles of the stuff somewhere.. we tried to repair one of the enlargers which was not working but to no avail.. so we headed back down to cyber to hang around some more.. i played with Dickson's new 30D.. complete with battery grip, 17-40 USM L lens, EX580 speedlite with light sphere which i bought for him..

Dickson said that he didnt want his tripod anymore.. so i took the ballhead while alfred took the tripod.. so.. I'VE GOT MY BALL HEAD!! YESSAR!! now to get my tripod stand.. meeting Dickson again tomorrow to buy his 50mm f/1.8 lens.. went to NSRCC again today to meet bro and dad before heading over to lagoon food court to have beef kuay teow for dinner..

everyone's getting new stuff.. especially cameras.. Dickson just went and bought himself a Canon 30D.. thats 1.6k for the body alone already lah.. and Sharon.. oh my goodness.. she bought herself a Nikon D200(1.8k for body).. WTF!! WHEN IS IT MY TURN!?!??!

all i could afford for today was my long awaited remote control for my useless D40.. i feel so insignificant in VC now.. everyone's got a proper camera and im stuck with a toy.. everyone's talking about the new cameras and lens that they've bought over the weekend and all i've got to do is look and feel sorry for myself.. i actually wanted to get a 50mm 1.8 today.. that lens only costs $170 lah.. and i cant afford even that.. my walk around simlim today was a very hurtful one.. looking at the D300s.. the 40Ds.. the SB800s and the f/2.8 lenses but not being able to afford even the most basic 50mm 1.8 lens.. even if i could afford the damn thing, my joke-of-a-camera cant even autofocus it because it dosent have the internal focusing motor..

im feeling very down at the moment lah.. even when i went to NSRCC to study.. i bowled a few games as well and i cannot help but notice how my brother's got a new optix skull ball.. and what do i have? the oldest bag, strike ball, and spare ball among my whole family.. my brother has 5 balls ok.. how many do i have? 2 old ones.. but who's the better bowler? ME! i just cannot seem to justify that..

anyway, maths was alright today.. im confident of a pass.. went to bugis after school to have my hair cut and to take that painful trip to simlim square.. went back home with dad and then out again to NSRCC to study/bowl.. back home and then out to WhiteSands to study more with Mark

my N95 has an acclerometer!?

so it appears that Nokia decided to keep the N95's built in accelrometer a secret for the past 9 months.. but now that it's finally been brought to light, THERES GONNA BE SOME COOL APPS!!

i've already installed a small software that gets my phone to make light saber noises when i swing it around.. HOW COOL IS THAT!?

anyway, woke up at 12.30 today.. haha.. slept for like 10 hrs.. got ready and then fetched marcus to NSRCC before going to hougang for lunch with mum and dad.. after lunch, mum went to the flower shop to look around and buy some orchids before we all left for giant tampines to grocery shop.. went back home after that to study abit more..

studied for the greater part of the day and ordered pizza for dinner.. had a hawaiian cheesy lava crust and 6pc drumlets.. studied abit more after that.. TTs TOMORROW!!! wish me luck!

Jamieson's wedding

woke up UBER early today (7am) to go to the Church of St Theresa for my cousin Jamieson's wedding.. got there at about 8.30 and went into the mass hall.. i brought my camera along to shoot abit and when i got there, i found out that the photographer they hired was actually using some sony compact camera lah.. WTF!?

anyway, the whole solemnisation took about 2 hours and after that, it was photo taking with the friends and families.. the 'pro' photographer kept trying to squeeze everyone into his frame while i sat there humbly with my 18mm wide angle.. LOL!!!

went for the buffet lunch after that and had lots to eat.. this is the 1st time i actually enjoyed the buffet spread lah.. almost like hotel buffer standard.. got roast beef and roast lamb.. fried maccaroni, fried DORY, tempura.. and the best dish IMO, the bread and butter pudding.. its totally DOPE!

went back home after that and then out again to NSRCC.. studied maths there while the rest bowled.. went back home for awhile and then left again for another buffet at my cousin's house.. chat with my cousins and played with Kelvin's iPhone!!!

this is like the 1st time i actually skipped posting for 2 days in a row.. lol.. anyway.. i didnt post cos i seriously forgot to blog..

anyway, 2 days ago, nothing much happened.. i cant even remember the details.. haha.. went for OOP class in the mornin and then met up with Mark and clique for lunch at ITAS.. we then went over to engine to study abit.. i left them and went over to CC for awhile before meeting Mark again in jap class.. we got into our presentation 2 groups for jap class and i got into a group with no one i knew.. haha.. went to NSRCC after school and didnt bowl but watched bro bowl till 12+ before going home -.-"

yesterday, went to school early for PSPS and showed teacher our project only to be shot down.. so we had to rethink our project, finish it, and submit it by today.. after PSPS, went to cyber to slack and have lunch.. went for telsys and maths class before going back to CC for an hour, and to jap lec

today, got to school at 11, and went to CC to meet everyone.. Dickson and me went up to the darkroom to meet SY and some main comm people to prepare the BnW film that we took.. mine kept getting stuck and Serena told me that its because i didnt load the film proper in the FM10.. haha.. we ordered pizza for lunch and ate in the small room outside the darkroom.. Debb managed to extract my film and we went to process the film before we started the BnW development course..

after school, went to have dinner with some of the VCians at TM before heading over to NSRCC to bowl.. the approach was EXTREMELY tacky today.. cannot even slide at all.. its about as good as wearing regular shoes to bowl lah.. left NSRCC at 1.15am

tuesday.. 6 more days.. term test.. barely studied.. omg..

anyway, woke up at 9 and got to school at 10 for a totally useless webapps lesson.. got into the lab, signed into MSN and surfed the web for 1 hr, then went for lunch with KW.. i mean.. i should have just woken up 4 hours later and went straight for maths instead man..

anyway, spent most of my break time with KW and then went to CC to hang around.. went for maths after that and teacher let us re-try last sem's term test paper.. the one i FAILED!.. but im confident that i'll pass this time.. im actually determined to get an A this time..

went back to CC for my 1 hr break and then back to engine again.. lame sia.. damn 1 hr break..

OOP let off early so i went back to CC and me, Dickson, YaWen, Pui Ye and Delia went up to the darkroom to have a look around.. me and Dickson refreshed our memories and checked for all the chemicals in preparation for this friday's workshop..

after school, took a cab to NSRCC to watch my bro bowl in the qualifiers for the mini-masters.. went to 802 to have frog's legs again after that

woke up at 7 and got to school at about 8.. slacked around till about 9 before going for netfund tut.. didnt do anything much.. crapped alot with Kavan at the back of the room.. Mark was not around.. i noticed something.. even though i keep talking and laughing with Kavan, i seem to learn something about the subject in the end.. haha.. must crap with Kavan more often..

after tut, met up with KW and went for lunch at short circuit.. had lao shu fen again! haha.. so addictive.. anyway, went to mensa for teh after that till about 1 when KW had to leave for lecture.. i went to CC and found Dickson and Alfred bent over Dickson's new LEOPARD!!! omg lah.. haha.. just bought it a few days ago.. he's so uber rich..

anyway, i heard from Alfred that today's SY's birthday and i was all.. lets get Sharon to come down to school and buy whip cream.. LOL! we planed it all out before i left for my 4pm webapps class.. showed teacher what we were planning to do for our project next term and then we were free to go.. went back to cyber to organise abit but SY came in extremely early.. so we had to impromptu abit..

got him to sit outside CC on the wooden bench, took off his specs, and slamed the paper plate full of cream right on his face.. LOL! too bad i didnt bring my D40 there today.. only brought the FM10(film camera).. Andy got some good shots though.. LOL!!!

went opposite school with VC to have dinner.. had some tomato based prawn pasta.. totally crappy

bowling mania day 2

woke up at 8 today because the youth squad selection was on at NSRCC.. so went there at about 9.30 and sat around till about 10 for the roll-off.. i actually didnt want to join the youth squad.. but since im already there.. haha!

bowled on the same lanes as Keith Toh and some other guy.. didnt bowl quite that well, but i think i got into the team nontheless.. i then went back home with dad while bro stayed to bowl his singles for the mini-masters qualifiers..

after i got home, i went to sleep for 3 hours before waking up again and going bowling at NSRCC.. my finger is bleeding again!! LOL!!

woke up at 11 today.. slacked around home till about 12+ then went out to NSRCC to have lunch.. had their kung pow chicken rice bento and ice lemon tea..

after lunch, went back to bowling alley and bowled a few games.. didnt do that fantastic or anything.. just a regular day of bowling.. haha..

went back home for awhile before going back down to NSRCC again.. bro wanted to bowl in the masters qualifiers.. i passed on this one because i felt my bowling was not up to scratch.. so i just hung around the gallery and used the wifi!

went to pick up mumsy before heading to the newly renovated samy's curry at dempsey road.. saw a cool grey lotus elise 111R there! haha.. drove around dempsey hill after dinner and saw alot of cool stuff that i didnt even knew existed..

went back home after that

woke up today at 10 and got to school at 11. went to CC to slack around and chit chat.. ta pao lunch from design canteen and ate in cyber center.. at 12.50, went for jap lecture..

went back home shortly after jap lecture and then went out again to send my bro to his drum lessons.. we then went to NSRCC to bowl.. bowled quite OK today and i finally got to bowl with Darren.. LOL!!

nothing much happened today lah.. damn sian.. hope tomorrow's going to be better!

omg i really cannot think of anything else to put as my title lah.. why must blogger make us put a title for.. haha..

anyway, woke up at 8 and went to school at 9 for PSPS.. the rest of the groups who didnt present last week did this week.. after class, met up with KaiWen at concourse and went to the hardware shop with him to get his spray paint and sand paper for his bike..

we went to mensa after that to have teh and chit chat before i left for netfund lab.. the tutor was very fast today and we finished everything in 1 hr.. so for the other hr, i followed Mark and his clique to ITAS to have 'dinner'.. the curry chicken with rice is DOPE man!

went for maths tutorial after that and teacher gave us past year's term test paper and answers.. after only half an hour, we were free to go.. went to CC to see everyone there and played around with everyone's camera.. haha.. got to try Darwis's Canon EOS 30D with 60 - 200mm 2.8.. his 'xiao bai'.. haha! that lens costs 2.7k by itself ok! dun siao siao..

league night

woke up at 9 today and got to school at 10 for OOP lab.. we had our lab test straight away and i actually think i can get close to full marks for this one! haha.. so miraculous.. the only part i could not complete is the 2nd question.. i can compile it but cant seem to run it.. other than that, the objects and GUI part got full marks!

teacher let us off 1 hour earlier after the lab test and so i had a 5 hour break on my hands.. went to CC and met Dickson, Andy and YaWen there.. chilled around there for the whole 5 hour break.. everyone left at about 2 and i still had 2 hours to waste.. so finished my jap show and tell stuff and printed it out with the printer..

left for the library at around 3.30 to meet Mark, Kavan and JieXing.. taught Mark how to use the rubik's cube and went for jap class.. show and tell day! haha.. did quite ok but was under the 3 minute requirement..

after school, went back to CC to get my stuff and one of the FM10s in which i am supposed to use the black and white film that Dickson bought for me at 5 bucks (thats EX!!!).. dad picked me up from school and then we went to NSRCC to bowl..

i didnt really bowl alot recently and needless to say, my bowling today is really CMI.. im 100% sure my handicap's gonna rise man.. left for dinner at 802 before heading home

KaiWen's birthday celebrations

got to school at 10 today for webapps2 again.. didnt do much as i already completed the damn thing anyway.. after webapps, had lunch at KFC and got myself a ticket to Kelvin Tan's concert this thursday.. went back for maths tutorial and got my quiz 1 results back.. got 22/30 man.. haha..

for the other hour of break, i went back to cyber center to slack around and then left for class again at 4.. OOP was ok today.. its getting alot harder and harder and i dont really understand it anymore.. whats more, i have a lab test tomorrow.. omg.. LOL! luckily, its an open book test..

i also have to present my japanese show and tell topic tomorrow.. i already did some research on it and i hope that its enough..

after school, i took a bus down to TM to meet Jia Lin and Amanda.. i reached at about 7.10 and we already bought tickets for the 7.15 movie.. the rest (KaiWen, James and KaiLing) only arrived at 7.25 lah.. so got into the theater at 7.30.. watched Beowulf.. quite a nice movie but kinda grusome.. the movie is actually more of an animation than a real movie lah.. but the graphics is so good that i seem to recall it as a full fledged movie.. haha..

after the movies, we met Amandis and WeiLun, and WanYi and boyfie.. James commented that all the couples were all about the same height.. LOL!!

woke up today at 7 and went to school at 8.. slacked around plaza area till about 9 before going for netfund.. didnt really concentrate on class much today.. mark was constantly bugging me to teach him how to solve the rubik's cube.. lol.. half an hour before class ends, my teacher let everyone off but those who didnt sit for the quiz last week.. took the 10qn MCQ and i think i'll pass..

met KaiWen after class and went to short circuit to have lao shu fen.. we then went to mensa to have drinks before going to CC.. slacked around and didnt do much.. at about 4, i left for webapps class.. i was already done with my damn website but my tutor wont let me go.. keep finding fault with my website..

after school, went to TM to have dinner.. ate teppan yaki again.. haha.. bumped into coach at the interchange! what a shock

at about 7+, i took a bus back to bedok interchange and my family picked me up to go to NSRCC.. met my neighbours there and went for dinner.. the lanes were full most probably because all the people who wanted to swim couldnt because of the rain.. in the end, we got a karaoke room..

got 2 lanes after awhile and i only bowled 2 games.. feeling very lethargic.. dont know why..

YESSAR!!!!!!! Temasek Polytechnic has clenched the POL-ITE overall champion for the 3rd year running now! haha..

woke up at about 11.30 and slacked around till about 12.30.. went to bedok interchange to meet Shu Xian.. we took a train down to city hall and walked around marina square.. stoped by the arcade and various shops before going down to carl's jr to have lunch.. had a sudden craving for mushrooms, so i ordered the portabello while Shu Xian ordered the superstar.. after a rather messy lunch, we took a cab down to safra yishun to support the bowling team.. met Don, BC, Glen, Kenneth, Lu Fang and Vera there.. we won the overall for both men and ladies and coach was super happy.. haha..

left for north point after that with Shu Xian, Kenneth, Glen and Don.. after a quick drink, we all took 969 to tampines interchange.. Don went home while the rest of us went to parkway parade to have dinner.. after dinner, we all went to play pool.. Kenneth was extremely pro lah.. haha.. left after awhile and took bus 196 to bedok interchange with Shu Xian..

attended the BnW developing workshop today together with Dickson, Andy, Clara and Sharon.. Suan Yang and Phyo taught us how to do it.. so cool lah.. haha.. bet u didnt know that actually developing the film into pictures dosent requite ink at all..

anyway, got to school early for for lec and then went to cc to slack.. Shu Xian joined me at about 11 after her jap tutorial.. we slacked around and played with my laptop.. Dickson, YaWen and Noel joined us after awhile and we all just sat around and chilled.. at about 12.50, me and Shu Xian left for LT21 at buisness for jap lecture.. after jap lec, we went back to cc to deposite our books and left for jupiter cafe with Noel.. had chicken leg pasta and a cup of hot mocha..

after going back to cc, Noel took out his rubik's cube (alot of people have been playing with it recently).. so i gave it a go and found it really addictive.. haha.. Dickson has one too and he's like.. the master.. haha.. anyway, at about 4, we all went outside cc to celebrate YaWen's and Clara's birthdays both of which fall on this sunday.. lol..

At about 5, everyone left for their respective events.. (YaWen, Shu Xian, Alfred and Alexial to Kelly Poon's concert) (Me, Dickson, Sharon, Clara, Andy, Suan Yang and Phyo to the dark room) learnt how to develope the negatives in the dark room.. wont reveal too much here..

went back to cc at about 7.30 and everyone except Alexial and Shu Xian went to TM to have dinner (pastamania).. i also went to toys'r'us to get my own rubik's cube.. LOL

woke up at 8 and went to school for PSPS presentation.. did alright.. went over to meet KW for lunch at mensa before going to cc.. didnt do anything much lah.. just slacked around only.. at about 1.30, i went to mensa 2 to pass Shu Xian the photoshop CD and then went to short circuit with KW..

chit chatted abit then went to lvl 6 for netfund.. we were having a quiz today and i didnt even study lah.. totally screwed it up.. =(

maths followed and had another quiz.. this one im sure i can get good marks.. only the gaussion elimination part was weird.. anyway, went back to CC after school and went to shoot some mediacorp people doing an intro for their new show in TP.. the producer was damn irritated by the 3 students lah.. haha.. keep forgetting what to do and not looking into the camera..

anyway, woke up at 7.30 and bathe etc etc.. went to Ya Kun's at 8.30 to meet YaWen.. i was supposed to have breakfast but i just wasnt feeling hungry.. so we took a bus to school and went to the cc because we didnt have classes yet.. at about 9.50, we left and headed for our classes..

had OOP and all we did today was to play with the colours on our GUIs.. so lame.. met YaWen after class and we went to 17-4 for my CgInt.. when we got there, Mark called and told me that there was no CgInt.. idiot..

so went back to cyber center and slacked for abit.. joined KW for a drink at jupiter cafe before heading over to outside the library to shoot the marina bay countdown.. Shu Xian joined us for her 1st official shoot.. got some cool shots and i learnt how to operate my flash!! like finally lah.. haha

went back to cyber center very early as there was not much to shoot anyway.. everyone went to mensa for lunch and i followed.. i only drank a bottle of coke.. haha.. after lunch, we all went back to cc and then out again to shoot some macro shots.. zach called me halfway and asked me to help him shoot 10 shots of TP landscapes.. so helped him and went to print with him..

went for jap tutorial after that with Mark and Manda before going back home.. mum and me took a cab down to NSRCC to watch bro bowl in the league..

back to school!

back to school for my most hated day of the week! tuesday -.-"

i hate tuesdays because of the lame 2 hour break, maths tutorial, and another hour break.. why cant they just make it 3 hours straight? what can i do with 1 hour!? seriously man.. anyway.. got to school slightly late but earlier than my webapps teacher nonetheless..

i wasnt present for yesterday's webapps lab.. so i was 1 chapter behind.. but i managed to catch up and nearly complete 2 chapters today.. i was so close loh.. only left 1 webpage to create.. anyway, after webapps, i went to look for Shu Xian who was outside the library.. i was supposed to teach her the basics for using a DSLR today.. so went to cyber center with her and met Alfred, Sharon, Andy and Darwis there.. after a short chit chat session, we all went to Sugarloaf to have lunch.. had their lasagna again and i couldnt finish it.. we tricked Sharon into putting liberal amounts of salt into her lasagna by telling her that it was cheese.. haha!!

anyway.. after going back to cyber center, i only had half an hour left to teach Shu Xian.. so i took out my camera while she used VC's 300D.. taught her about the usual stuff.. ISO, shutter speed and aperture.. we were joined by Alfred who fell down with my camera in his hands while chasing a cat on the 2nd level..

after that, i had to rush off for my maths tutorial.. maths tutorial was all about functions today.. all that f(x) crap.. haha.. anyway, got through maths tut and went back to cc amidst the pouring rain.. Sharon and Alfred were still there and doing lame stuff -.-"

went back to engine to meet KaiWen for abit of a chat before going for OOP.. OOP today was totally stupid.. i could even program it lah.. i never knew that missing a lecture could have such a big impact till now.. the whole program was about GUI(Graphic User Interface) and i didnt know ANYTHING about it..

after OOP, went to mac with Shu Xian and friends because she said that she couldnt understand what i've said that morning.. probably because of the lack of time lah.. i understand.. anyway, retaught her everything and drew a small table for clarity's sake..

went back home after that and then went to meet KW at 8.30 on my old skool.. it was drizzling slightly when i got there but i managed.. after meeting him, we cycled to the coffee shop to have teh.. while having teh, it really started to come down.. so we had no choice but to brave the rain and cycled to his house again.. slacked for awhile till the rain stoped before going back home.. on the way, i took a pretty sharp turn and my old skool's front wheel lost traction and it sliped.. i suffered 3 minor cuts as a result.. haha

hey folks! guess what? im SICK! hahahahahaha.. not that its funny.. but yea..

woke up today and felt sick.. so didnt go to school.. went to see the doctor instead.. got an MC to cover for my absence today.. went to the coffee shop nearby to have breakfast before returning home to sleep for 3 hours..

woke up at 2+ to have lunch and then slacked at home feeling bored.. at about 4+, YaWen msned me and we chatted for abit and i decided to go down to school.. so got my stuff and took a cab down to school.. slacked at CC and didnt do much.. played with the MacBook Pro..

Shu Xian came over to CC to join VC and we introduced her to some of the more active members.. she left after awhile because she needed to go home.. i just hung around cc till about 7 when YaWen came back from class.. we (me, alfred, yawen and pang hock) then left CC and walked to the bus stop.. dad and bro came to pick me and YaWen up before heading over to NSRCC to bowl.. i was feeling rather sick so i didnt bowl.. me and YaWen walked around NSRCC instead.. my first time walking on the beach lah.. i was wearing slippers and so alot of sand got into them..

sent YaWen to the MRT before heading home..

Kallang bowl

i was supposed to wake up at 8 to meet a couple of VCers at school today but i couldnt wake up.. haha.. woke up at 12 instead and went their after i got ready.. reached there at about 1 and only Pang Hock and Phyo was at CC.. so i sat around and slacked abit till Alexia came in awhile later.. i had brought my camera and the works (camera body, kit lens, 60 - 300 lens, wide angles and flash).. but when i got there and wanted to get it out, i realised that i forgot to put in my battery.. haha.. 2nd time this happened..

anyway, Pang Hock asked us if we wanted to go look for YaWen and Sharon on the buggy and of course, i said yes.. so me, Pang Hock and Alexia squeezed into the back of the buggy and we all went to tembusu groove to look for them.. we stayed there for awhile and then walked back to CC.. after uploading the pics, we decided to go to Bedok's pizza hut for lunch. so we all walked over to the bus stop and took the bus to bedok interchange.

we walked over to pizza hut and i saw Ming there who just ate finish and was going home.. we ordered the sambal fiesta meal (1 regular seafood sambal pizza, 1 regular hawaiian, 4 soups and 4 drinks) and a add on of minty cranberry which i shared with YaWen.. after lunch, Pang Hock wanted to pay for us but all of us strongly declined and paid him back.. we all went our seperate ways after that and me and YaWen went back home to pick up my battery and to rest.. we wanted to go to the airport but my dad's suggestion of kallang's new leisure mall was better.. so we all went there..

there was not much stores open in the mall.. even the toilets were not opened yet.. haha.. but already, there was a 22 wooden lane bowling alley and an ice skating rink.. we tried out the lanes there with YaWen and im really shocked at the sticky-ness of the approach.. couldnt even slide lah.. i had to switch to the smoothest sole of my shoe (my shoe's sliding patch can be changed to match conditions) to get the most insignificant increase..

bowled quite lousily.. highest of 154 only.. we then sent YaWen to kallang MRT before heading back home..

sleepover at cyber center

didnt update yesterday because we had a sleepover at the cyber center.. we're the 1st ever to sleep there (according to pang hock)..

so anyway, yesterday i woke up at 10 and got to school at 11 to shoot the last day of tp rawks and ccn day.. i had to bring 2 bags plus a tripod.. so i went to cyber center 1st to put everything down.. andy came in after awhile and told me that no one was at design.. so i got my camera and left for design.. shot P35 (Shu Xian's group) painting at design and then followed them around design.. i got to visit the new 2 million dollar full HD video lab (1st in asia).. so totally cool lah.. each station has 2X 24" high-def apple computers in which to edit videos.. and there was about a dozen of such stations.. in the corner of the room in a glass enclosed area, there were servers and hubs with apple logos on them.. so cool lah.. i think the lab as terrabytes of space (1TB = 1000GB)

after shooting at design, i left for CC and was told by humphrey that lunch was not provided today.. so we all waited for awhile for more VCers to come back before heading to mensa to have lunch.. had the kuay chap's stall's hokkien noodles by WanYi's recommendation and i dont think its anything special..

after lunch, Alfred, Sharon and myself went to look around the CCN day booths.. halfway through, i bumped into YaWen and followed her to shoot.. visited alot of booths but didnt buy anything (except for a pack of peanuts).. YaWen then went back to upload her photos for EngineerRus while i went to the plaza to shoot the bands with Andy.. Andy had to go back to CC to get fresh battries while i continued shooting.. but not for long as there were practically no one listening to the poor bands.. there was this part where the band's 10 person audience just stood up and left.. HAHA!!

back at cyber center, we all sat around and chilled for awhile and shot a few cosplayers before going back to the plaza to shoot the stage events again.. this time, there were stunt bikers performing.. their stunts were good but when they needed a volunteer to jump over and Mark was chosen, one of the bikes landed right on him.. poor guy..

went back to cyber for awhile more before going to TCC for jam and hop.. from my position (at the 2nd floor) i had a clear view of the bands playing but didnt have space to move around for shots.. so alot of my shots were repeated.. after jam and hop, we all went back to the cyber center and uploaded all the photos.. craped around abit and i shot the moon.. it had a red tinge to it.. lol.. showed everyone the photo and they all went outside to shoot it..

paradise to have supper.. after supper, we bought some soon, everyone except me, YaWen, Dickson, Alfred, Alvin, Sharon and Pang Hock went home.. we sat around looking at photos and watching youtube till about 1.30 when sharon was going to go home.. we all walked her out to the guard house and got a cab for her before going to prataalcohol from 7-11 before going back to school to drink.. we got out the projector from the server room and connected it to my laptop and watched russell peters. Pang Hock and Alvin went to sleep shortly afterwards while me, YaWen and Alfred went to the sports complex to bathe.. YaWen was afraid and bathed with us in the male toilet

got back at about 4am and the door was locked by dickson who so conveniently went to sleep.. we had to make alot of noise till Pang Hock woke up to open it for us.. we changed the video to Transformers and watched it till Alfred went to sleep, leaving me and YaWen awake only.. watched till almost the end when YaWen finally went to sleep and i turned everything off.. i went out to the toilet and caught a glimpse of the sun rising over TP.. so i went back to get my camera and Alfred.. alfred took 1 look at the sky, decided that his camera wont do, and went back to sleep.. YaWen joined me after her 5 min nap and we went to the resevior to walk around..

we went back and everyone woke up in due time.. Alvin went home first and the rest of us soon went back home.. when i got home, i slept for about 6 hours before waking up at 7 for dinner.. we went to 802 to have frog's legs again and then i went back to school while dad and bro went bowling.. at school, i followed YaWen around shooting for the iGuides camp.. she hasent slept since yesterday..

at about 11, me, Sharon and YaWen went out to wait for cabs.. waited for 15 mins for 2 cabs lah.. all hired.. after both of them got cabs, i went back to the cyber center to pick up my towel which i forgot to bring home and then went out again to meet dad and bro to go home.. i just realised that i forgot to bring my laptop charger back also.. dammit.. i'm going back to school tomorrow anyway.. haha!

TP Rawks 2nd day

today was another hectic day.. woke up at 8 and went to school slightly late at 9.10.. had PSPS first thing in the morning and did my presentation.. actually, i didnt really help much in reasearching and making the powerpoint.. but i think i made it up by presenting a larg part of it.. out of all the groups, i could tell that ours is the most successful.. the lecturer's questions were few and all were well answered.. haha..

after PSPS, i had a 2 hour break in which i went to CC to find everyone not there.. so i phoned yawen and met her at the sports complex where TPDE was teaching the rawkers to dance.. snaped a few pics and then went to the resevior with yawen to shoot the dragonboats.. yawen had to go back for class while i went back to the CC to have lunch with everyone else.. halfway through lunch, there were these 2 girls who walked past us (we were eating on the benches outside) and commented that VC was cool.. alfred said 'yeah! vc is cool!' and they were like.. 'how do we join?'.. haha.. so we got 2 new members today!

after lunch, i had to go for my 4hr of classes.. nothing much happened and i went back to CC after class.. no one was there again and i thought that everyone would be at the sports complex as it was raining.. so i went there to find more rawkers dancing with TPDE.. so i walked back to CC just in time to see yawen and someone else (i cant remember the name) come out with intentions of going to the sports complex.. haha.. so i followed them and shot abit more, including the cheerleading performance with mark in it.. haha..

after that, we all went back to the cyber center and uploaded all out photos.. yawen, dickson, alvin and me went upstairs where it was all dark to play with yawen's flash's strobe.. took some really cool ghostly pics.. haha..

after that, we all went to KFC to have dinner.. while there, dickson told us some really funny jokes and we all laughed till our stomaches hurt.. haha.. especially the 'No No No No No No' one.. LOL!!

TP Rawks 1st day

woke up at 7.30 today and went to school at 8.30 to shoot for TP rawks.. my 1st major event for VC!! haha.. anyway, went to TCC 1st thing in the morning and covered the welcome event in the auditorium.. they were playing some games and giving out prizes..

halfway through, i had to leave for my OOP class.. walked into class with my camera in hand.. haha.. for the 1st time, i didnt manage to complete my OOP.. mainly because i cannot write fast enough.. didnt even program anything today lah.. just write out only.. haha.. after OOP, went to ITAS to look for YaWen whom i was shooting with.. met her and we went to some LT to follow the rawkers.. IT school has this weird game called 2nd life.. something like runescape only the map is of TP.. so lame lah.. the lecturer was showing us the game and i can already tell that he plays it at home.. can you immagine your lecturer at home playing some lame assed game with a pet dragon called 'boy boy'? LAME!

got my free lunch after that and then covered the viva the arts event next to mushroom.. they also invited the korean idol winner to come sign for us.. got some killer shots of him man.. thanks to YaWen's 18 - 135.. haha.. anyway, there was this point when they were giving out his CDs.. and when the winners came up to take the CD, the emcee was pointing to me and told the korean dude: 'take picture, take picture!'.. i was only glad to oblige.. haha!

after viva the arts ended, me and YaWen was scheduled to shoot the yellow group around buisness school.. so we followed them to the LT where they were given some boring talk.. we decided not to stay and walked out of the LT to go look for more rawkers.. haha.. amanda joined us and i left with her for jap class at 4, leaving poor YaWen alone for the 2nd time today to shoot by herself.. haha.. jap class was fun today.. tricked amanda with the 999 prank.. HAHAHA!!

after jap, me and amanda went to the sports hall to cover the last event of the day.. they were being taught the mass dance!! haha.. YaWen got amanda the 300d from the CC and she shot also.. halfway through the teaching, i saw Wei Kit and we danced the mass dance together.. well, part of it anyway, and Alfred went and took 14 pics of me.. -.-" the best part is that Sharon took me doing the 'RA!' part right into her lens -.-"

after it all, we all went back to CC.. while the others were uploading their photos, we had some fun with the 2 SB-800 flashes that we had.. i think Dickson's working on the collage now.. i'll post it when its done.. haha.. we also took lots of group photos..

after uploading, we all went over to opposite school to have dinner.. my 1st time eating with so many VC members.. my carbonara was the last to arrive and the rest all very graciously waited for me to start together.. haha.. after dinner, we all went back home

sianz tuesday

out of all the days of the week, i think i hate tuesdays the most.. all my class are solos and theres this 2 hour break followed by emaths and then another 1 hr break.. wouldnt it be better if it was 3 straight hours THEN maths? i hate tp.. i think i've said that like a million times already..

anyway, woke up at about 9 today and got to school slightly early for webapps.. finished the lab very early and had alot of time to waste.. so i started playing winter bells.. my teacher came up to me and said 'hey, stop playing and do your work' and i told him that i was done.. he told me to move on to lab 5 (today's lab) as some of the rest are still on lab 4.. i told him that i've already done that also.. he looked shock lah.. haha..

after webapps was my 2 hour break.. went to CC to slack for awhile and met sharon there.. kaiwen called me 1 hr later to ask me to go have lunch.. we met up at jupiter cafe where only i ate (chicken leg pasta and hot mocha).. we also saw james there who sat down for a nice chat..

james left after awhile and me and kaiwen continued to chit chat till it was time for my emaths.. so we went back to cc to pick up my stuff before heading over to engine school. maths class was damn boring today.. taught stuff that i already knew.. i hung through it all and went back to cc for my 1 hr break.. when i got there, the place was flooded with people.. haha.. spent most of my time with yawen and alfred looking at clubsnap pics and discussing the Fujifilm S5 Pro..

went back home after my OOP lab and then went bowling at NSRCC.. the lanes were totally crap today.. if you bowl the inside and send out, the ball skids way too much.. if you bowl the outside in a straight line, the ball gets too much traction and hooks to the 2nd pin.. damn lanes..

monday blahs

monday again.. and after the past 4 days of holidays, i feel extremely reluctant to go to school today.. haha.. anyway, draged myself out of bed at 8 and got to school at 9 for netfund tutorial.. it was totally boring and i ended up watching russell peters on mark's psp at the back of the class..

after that, chris, ray, andrew, zach and myself went over to jupiter to have chicken leg pasta.. all five of us had it.. haha.. compared to last time, the new and improved jupe's chicken leg looks like its been inflated or something.. the rest went for their OOP lecture while i went to get my photos which i sent for developing yesterday.. after collecting, i went to the cyber center to slack for the 5 hours that i have.. met someone new today called Kai Xin who is new to DSLRs.. me, alfred and YaWen followed her out about school to teach her the ropes for basic manual setting usage..

after that, i had my webapps lab and i finished it just on time today.. haha.. found a new addictive game during class today also.. called winter bells.. i got 3771990 for my high score!! haha

went to my uncle's house to deliver him his new home theater system and then went to safra tampines to bowl.. bowled quite well today.. 161 average for 5 games..

woke up at 12 today and had lunch at home at about 1+.. i then cycled to the tampines mountain bike trail again today to shoot the event with Suan Yang.

got there at about 2.30 and met up with him. we walked up hill where a part of the race circuit was based on and shot alot of pics.. most of the cyclists were really friendly.. they smiled when we were shooting them and some of them even thanked us (?)..

after the hill segment, we walked back down for a drink followed by the flatland segment.. the flatland shot were mainly pannings.. we walked for awhile and decided to turn back.. so we didnt go into the forest segment..

all in all, 270 pics taken and only a few good ones.. my camera is just not suited for photography.. not like a guy we saw on the hill with a Nikon D2 Xs.. haha.. today, for the 3rd day in a row, the mosquitoes had a big feast.. i counted and i've got 26 mosquito bites on me right now.. dammit lah.. i must have lost like a gallon of blood..

pulau ubin trip

woke up at 7am today by mum who told me that it was raining and that going to ubin was not a possibility.. shortly after, amanda called me to tell me the same thing.. but yawen was on her way to tampines already.. so i went to TM to meet her and have breakfast while we waited for the rain to stop so we could go to ubin..

we got to the ferry terminal at about 11 and took a bum boat to ubin.. we went straight to the information kiosk to get a map and information as to how we were to get to the chek jawa board walk.. we then rented a mountain bike for myself and a double seater for amanda and yawen.. we cycled all the way to the east of ubin from the jetty which is at the south end of it..

when we got there, we stoped by the information booth and got maps before heading onwards ontot the boardwalk.. took ALOT of good shots there.. one of the best moments is when amanda was shooting something and i spied a red dragonfly land on a leaf nearby.. i went right up to it and shot alot of cool pics.. it was very cooperative and didnt mind me going as close as 2cm away from it.. haha..

walked from the mangroves to the coastal area and took more shots.. after we got out of chek jawa, we cycled back to the main village at the jetty to have lunch/dinner.. ordered fried chicken, kang kong and prawn fried egg.. after that, me and yawen sent amanda to the jetty as she had to go off first.. we then continued to cycle on the 2-person bike to the western side of the island which we didnt go earlier on..

took the boat back at 6 and dad picked us up at the terminal..
