woke up at 7 today, and got to school at 8.30-ish.. went with baby to get my report binded before going for class.. didnt do anything much for wireless lab.. we formed our groups for our assignment 2, and my group got to do wireless VOIP..

went to TM with baby after classes and had teppanyaki for lunch.. after lunch, we went to the cinema to catch the Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.. the movie was fantastic! much better then its predecessor.. really really good watch..

sent baby back home at about 6+, and then went back home myself.. had dinner with my dad at the jap restraunt near to the sports complex.. the system was quite cool.. something like marche.. we then went to the club and i bowled 6 games with sub-par averages =(

on the way back at 1-ish, the TP were conducting a police stop.. they were very stringent and talked to every car.. and the 3 lane road was slowed to a crawl with a massive jam as they only used 1 single lane..

nothing much happened these past 2 days.. yesterday, had a lab test during ASP.NET and i scored full marks for it.. then had a presentation during APEL, and then went to the darkroom for the rest of the day doing nothing till about 7 when my dad and bro came to pick me up.. we went to my mum's shop, then to the grand mercure hotel for my brother's birthday dinner.. the food was fantastic.. especially the fondue..

today, had a quiz that i should be able to pass during netinfra and then went to the darkroom to slack again.. time passed VERY slowly today.. i was so bored i actually fell asleep on the floor.. went for public speaking at 4, and finished at 5.30.. went back to cyber to meet baby, then sent her home before going home to finish up my 5 page report for wireless

woke up at 9, got to school at 10.. mobcom was boring as usual.. teacher talked, we listened/sleeped. left about an hour and a half later, and left early and met Noel to go to the darkroom to slack.. processed a few photos before Liu Ying and baby joined us.. Noel and LY da-baoed food for me..

spent more time in the darkroom mostly alone and doing nothing.. only went back to school at 5 for classes and project discussion before going back home for dinner..

woke up at 7, went to school at 8 for ewebapps.. very very boring today.. lots of speech by the tutor.. presented my part on UML-SD and then went to cc to get the keys to the darkroom, where we will be spending our free time this week (cyber is closed for student election).. no one was there for a good part of the time..

had lunch in the darkroom, and then developed some photos with Noel.. we opened a new bottle of developer today as the old one was depleted.. and the fresh chemical was so potent.. haha! developed LOTS of photos before going for class.. halfway there, i received an SMS from my groupmate that the teacher was not in school and was on course.. so turned around, and went back to the darkroom again..

sadly, emaths2 wasnt cancelled.. so attended the class before going back to the darkroom to lock it up and going for dinner with baby at kenny roger's to celebrate our half year anniversary.. had half a chicken, half a rack of ribs, 3 sides, 2 muffins, and a small pack of chocolates.. sent baby home after dinner..

woke up at 12 today, and went for lunch with my dad (mum at work, bro with friends) at the round market.. after that, went back home and finished my presentation for tomorrow's ewebapps class.. Dickson smsed me and asked if i could help him film some stuff.. so i agreed, and met him at Tampines platform.. took the train to triple D where he developed his film, and we filmed him walking around shooting for his video.. then shot abit more of uniquely singaporean stuff before going to bedok..

at bedok, we took a bus to his friend's house, and i helped him shoot his friend's cat for a magazine.. Dickson then went back to triple D to collect his film, and i took a cab to meet my family at katong for dinner at samy's curry.. went to popular after that to get a laser for my presentation tomorrow, and the went home

BPW and NatGeo Talk

woke up at 10.30, got to school at 11 for main committee meeting which didnt start till 11.51.. -.-" mainly because everyone was late.. anyway, discussed about lots of stuff, and then went back down to cyber to wait for the tutors for the BPW.. Dickson arrived, and then we both went to Ikea in Suan's car to da-bao some food back..

the freshies started arriving just as we were finishing our food.. took their attendance, and then started the BPW.. apperently, Dickson did his slides using Apple's KeyNote, which my computer didnt have.. so his slides became redundant -.-" hahaha! after the theory part, we went downstairs for a practical hands on session.. we gave them some assignments, and they were supposed to shoot it..

back in the alumni lounge again, and Jo taught composition.. we then sent them out for the TP PhotoMarathon.. we all got to sit around slacking while waiting for the them to come back.. after they shot all 3 themes, we had a mass critique session there and then ended the day.. me, Sharon, Dickson, YaWen and Suan left in a hurry as we (all but Suan) were going to the night safari.. a big SORRY TO EVERYONE WHO HAD TO CLEAR UP OUR MESS!! really really appreciate it guys.. i owe you guys one..

anyway, at night safari, we were lead to a room where the talk by 2 natgeo photogs were, and was served drinks immediately by the staff.. the service was imaculate man.. hahaha.. anyway, the talk was intresting, and after the talk, Dickson pointed to someone, and told me.. LOOK! JEFF HUTCHENS! LOL! we told Sharon, and she melted on the spot.. we were talking, and i called out to a passing Jeff.. had a small chat with him.. he remembered us from last wednesday! haha.. took lots of pictures with him and the other 2 photogs.. and Sharon finally got to take a pic with Jeff! she was soooo shy lah.. hahahahahaha..

left the zoo for AMK Hub after that, but didnt eat anything.. i wanted to withdraw some cash, but the DBS atm's minimum amount for withdrawal was $200.. and the one at cheers could not process my withdrawal.. -.-" so went to NSRCC via cab, then bowled 3 games before going back home

woke up at 8, school at 9.. I PASSED MY WIRELESS QUIZ!! ZZOMGWTFBBQ!! totally unexpected can.. hahahahaha.. super happy.. anyway, went to cyber, then to lunch at short circuit.. after lunch, went back to cyber for awhile, where nobody was there.. so slept abit with baby and then went for project discussion at 1..

went to TM to book movie tickets for me and baby to catch Indiana Jones, then went back home.. had spaghetti as an early dinner, and then went to catch the movie with baby.. all in all, a great movie.. but the plot was slightly weak and predictable.. but a good movie to catch nontheless..

woke up at 9, got to school at 10.. netinfra lab was very easy.. finished first again, and left.. had a quiz during ewebapps lec, and then went to cyber center.. had lunch at flavours, and shot abit of macro with Noel at the circular garden.. cyber today was super dead.. there were moments where i was alone sitting there stoning..

went for pub speaking at 4, and had our impromptu speech today, and i was praised as "one of the better speakers in class".. my topic was 'Tips to keeping fit'.. according to the tutor, my speech was content filled.. hahaha

went to Bugis area with Dickson and Noel so that Dickson could get his negatives.. he bought 2 rolls of the new expensive agfa vista.. the uncle from triple D was like: "i dont know why people buy this film.. so expensive and just for negatives".. and Dickson was like.. give me 2 pls

went for dinner at SLS food court.. i ordered my food, then realised that i forgot to withdraw cash.. so had to go to the nearest ATM to withdraw.. LOL! went back to school at 9 to send baby home

woke up at 8, and went to the bank before going to school.. ASP.NET lab was simple.. finished very early and started playing Winter Bells again.. got my official school high score!!

moving on, there was no APEL today.. so i went to sim lim with my dad and mum.. and i finally bought my MB-D10 multi power battery pack! hahaha.. took 23 back to school, and to cyber.. helped Sarah shoot the student election candidates for the whole day and had lunch with Alfred and Darwis before being stuck in cyber again..

had dinner with baby before going up to the meeting room for bowling meeting which lasted for 45 mins.. wasent really productive IMO.. sent baby home before going to NSRCC to see the league

woke up at 9 today, got to school at 10.. had our mobcomp quiz today, followed by a lab.. today was the first mobcomp lesson that actually went on for more than 2 hours.. mainly because the tutor talked for about 1 and a half hour today.. slept through about 30 mins of it because i could take it anymore..

went down to CC so that Noel could help me with my maths and to help shoot some of the candidate shots for the upcoming student elections.. had lunch with PH, Noel and Alvin at mensa also.. went for my maths quiz at 5, and did pretty badly.. then went back to cyber to wait for Suan for a meeting..

while waiting, me, Dickson and Josias called up all the BPW intake to confirm their attendance.. once Suan was there, we started the meeting regarding the BPW this saturday.. had a major overhaul of the original idea before going for dinner opposite school

Epic Ride

woke up today at 7.30.. left the house at 9, and cycled the 15 clicks straight to ECP for the first time ever.. had to pass bedok reservoir park, bedok town park, siglap park, kembangan park, 3 overhead bridges (2 with ramps 1 without), and Noel's house before reaching ECP.. met up with Suan, Josias and Janis before going to recci marine parade.. stoped at some coffee shop for some apparently good carrot cake..

went past Jo's old school before going back to ECP and cycling to the Subway.. met up with baby and Marian there for lunch, and then left again to cycle to NSRCC.. Marian joined us while baby went back home.. we then cycled to NSRCC, stoped for a break, and then cycled route F.. went into some jungle like area with lots of cat-tails around.. camwhored with the cat-tails before going onto the 8km straight.. the straight was really cool.. it followed the curveture of the earth and you couldnt see the end at all..

ended up at changi beach park and cycled to changi village for early dinner.. after dinner, cycled through changi golf and beach club and then out to the open road.. wanted to continue cycling to pasir ris park and then to sunplaza, but it was getting late.. so had to go to sunplaza straight.. Marian left after taking 1 last group shot.. i went home, and the rest cycled back to kovan area..

all in all, cycled more than 50km today.. it was really good fun, but the girls were abit slow and unable to keep up with the rest of us.. they also constantly stopped and that caused me to lose my momentum and that in turn causes me to get tired easily.. hahaha.. it was really good fun though.. cannot wait to do it again

woke up at 12.30 today and had lunch at home.. there was an event below my block today by an undisclosed racial group that i am not particularly fond of.. and it was causing alot of unwanted noise.. so, after trying to ignore if for 3 hours, i left for the supermarket with my mum, and then got back home again..

the noise was still there and so i convinced my mum to bring my and Lucky to sunplaza park for a walk.. i brought my camera along and caught a few pics of grasshoppers, flies, ladybugs, and the sharpest macro i've taken to date, a long leged fly..

went for dinner after going back from the park at a seafood restraunt before going to the club to bowl 2 games.. the score was so horrible that i just stoped bowling after 2 games.. slacked around the club and discussed with Suan about tomorrow's biking plans.. left the club at about 1am

woke up at about 1 today.. had lunch at home, and then went to meet Noel at his house at around 3.45.. walked from kembangan mrt to his house.. it was a total maze man.. hahaha.. left about 5 mins after reaching and went to pasir ris park to shoot macro.. didnt see alot of insects, but the ones we saw were quite exotic (to me at lease).. we saw a 2-inch long grass hopper, a huge crab spider, a stink bug, an unknown bug and a cicada which just emerged from it's molting shell..

didnt really get alot of good shots today =( Noel was sitting down on the bench when a small ant crawled onto his pants.. he got out his Canon 550EX and blasted it with full power 3 times, frying it.. omg.. i swear he gets his own form of sick pleasure from doing that..

met Dickson at about 7+ and then went for dinner at E!Hub.. initially wanted to eat at that bbq chicken joint, but decided that it was too expensive.. so went to HK cafe to have dinner instead.. feeling hungry, i ordered a bowl of noodles, and curry chicken rice.. hahaha.. we got a lesson on the dogged faced water snake by Dickson who apparently did some research on them at the nearby monsoon drain.. wanted to take a closer look, but didnt because it was high tide, and there were too many people fishing.. oh well!

will not blog about the previous 2 days as i have come to the conclusion that the people who actually read my blog is the people i am hanging around with anyway.. haha!

anyway.. today was CCN day! went for class at 9 and left at about 10.45.. went to cyber and helped them carry everything to the booth area outside the library.. we then set up the whole store and i pretty much stayed there for the whole duration of the CCN.. took lots of pics and made a total of $124.. pretty good IMO.. haha! we faced lots of problems today.. but i'm proud to say that VC has overcome them..

problems faced included the studio strobes being unable to trigger due to the interference of daylight.. we overcame that by using Suan's radio trigger and Noel's flash unit.. we faced the problem of not being able to process and print photos fast enough.. again, Noel was able to help.. the computer screen was a total blur to me with the cursor moving here and there.. if anyone was to be thanked for the success of today, i would say it would have to be Noel.. so heres to you mate! thanks for all the hard work you've put into VC so far!

after packing up for CCN day, sent baby back home and had a very heavy dinner

woke up at 9 today, and got to school at 10.. mobcomp's OT teacher had a sore throat today, and said that he wont talk much.. guess what? talked for 1 and a half hours.. finished my lab, and left an hour early.. went down to cyber center after that and had lunch at mensa with Noel.. slacked around at CC for awhile before going upstairs to the darkroom for the main comm studio shoot

instead of the main comm shoot, it turned out to be another full fledged camwhore session with the foam banana that KX left at cyber.. went for maths at 5, and then back to cyber again to celebrate KX's birthday.. bought her a cake and some other random stuff.. we (i) got her to use her mouth to take the candle stub from the cake and lick the plastic cover for the cake as a joke

woke up at 7, and felt sick.. vomited the day before.. and vomited abit today also.. but went to school regardless.. found out that i researched on the wrong topic for EWebApps, and was given another week to complete it (next week is a holiday, so effectively, its 2 weeks to complete).

went down to cyber after the greuling 3 hour lab, and slacked there for 4 hours.. slept abit too at cyber.. first time actually sleeping when theres people (Alfred) there talking and playing my PSP.. went back for ASP.Net class.. finished first again, but didnt leave till class ended.. went for maths tutorial, then went back to cyber center..

baby was having her proj discussion, then went over to school to have dinner.. so didnt send her home.. instead, went for dinner with Noel, YaWen and Sharon.. went to CS's food court and had a bowl of noodles.. then went to macs for a mcflurry before heading home

woke up at 1.30 today.. didnt go for bowling training as i got a nasty headache that wouldnt go away from last night's knock in the head.. had lunch at home, and then went to pick my grand aunty, my brother, then went to vivo city to wait for my dad.. we walked around for abit before my dad arrived..

went for coffee at pacific coffee, and then had an early dinner at the steamboat buffet restaurant at the 3rd floor.. their 'ma-la' is super 'ma' and not 'la' at all.. the herbs that they put inside seriously made my mouth numb man.. their mutton and fried chicken was nice though =)

went back home and finished up my ewebapps presentation for tomorrow

woke up at 9, got to school at 10 for VC meeting.. the chairperson and president was late.. so we had to wait for her to arrive.. meeting eventually started at 10.45, and ended at 11.45. sent baby home via cab after that and felt like cooking.. so took a bus to bedok interchange, went to NTUC and bought portobello mushrooms and some parsley..

went home, prepared, and cooked my portobello aglio olio and slacked around for awhile before taking an MRT to bugis to meet baby and friends, bought my parents a set of mugs for their birthday (16/17th April) cum parents' day gift.. the rest all went to watch speed racer, while i went to the fountain to stone for about 45 mins, and then walked zombie-liked to my mum's shop..

picked up my brother from home and then went over to Melanie's birthday party.. got there just in time to shoot the cutting of the cake for them.. went to the club after that, bowled 5 lousy games, played abit of arcade, and went back home.

woke up at 8 today.. wanted to wake up earlier to pei baby, but didnt manage =( so anyway, went to school for wireless lab, and then went down to cyber center.. slacked there for a good part of the day and went for lunch with baby opposite school.. tried the minced pork noodles featured on campus foods for the first time.. lots of vinegar, but nice nontheless..

me and YaWen sent baby to class before going to engine 1 to get more minced meat noodles from my all time favourite stall.. went to mensa 1 to eat, and then went upstairs to mensa 2 to have desert together with Noel, Alvin, LiuYing and Geraldine. went back to cyber, and then out again to bedok reservior to shoot abit of macro.. the shoot was pretty satisfying for me with about 4-5 shots i liked (thats alot)

after the macro shoot, we were all back in CC playing winter bells.. i got the highest of 1 quadrillion.. LOL! i had to stop as we had to leave for the 伍家輝 concert shoot.. if not would have gotten even higher than my current high score! hahahaha..

the concert was alright.. the emcee was very funny.. enjoyed the shoot and got lots of good shots.. went back home after uploading

woke up at 7, and wanted to go pei baby in school.. but was so damn tired that i told her that i wanted to sleep for another hour.. hahahaha.. went for class at 9, went to cyber at about 11.. skipped a lecture and stayed at cyber center and slacked away.. went upstairs to the darkroom where Delia was doing her cosplay shoot and shot abit as well..

went back downstairs to cc after the shoot and me, Noel and YaWen sent baby to class before going to ITAS to buy some crispy chicken.. went back to cyber center and slacked around.. went to buisness school together with Geraldine for public speaking tutorial as her class was just a door away from mine.. the class was super boring.. nearly slept.. haha! went back to cyber for 5 mins before going upstairs to the alumni lounge for the last night of introductory meeting.. tonight's group is not as high as the previous 2.. haha!

after the whole thing, went back home via cab

woke up at 7, got to school at 8. pei-ed baby till 9 before going for ASP lab.. i totally forgot that we had a lab test today! hahaha.. so tried my best, and finished 1st again.. left about an hour early and went to cyber, lecture, cyber and then APEL.. Jyuan kept playing with my camera.. LOL

went back to cyber and had lunch.. some of us ordered from bistro walk, while the rest ordered from mensa.. i had the last plate of chicken thigh (the display set) and we all went outside to the wooden benches to have lunch together.. chilled at cyber for awhile, sent baby to class, then went to the darkroom with PH to try out the back drops.. Delia and Alfred joined us shortly, and we shot quite a few pictures with Alfred's razor sharp Nikkor AF-D 85mm f/1.8..

went for a meeting with PH, YW and Sharon regarding the upcoming events, and left halfway to send baby home.. took a cab to NSRCC after that and stayed there watching dad bowl.. left at about 10 for home

woke up at 9 today, got to school at 10. went for the usual boring mobcom lesson.. so today, we were lucky.. the 'hard' lab lasted for: 1 hour of talktime, and half an hour of practical.. first to leave again this week.. LOL! XML is more fun than java!

LOL! so adjusted abit and its fine now..

picked up my bro before heading home.. i just knocked into the bathroom door because im still not used to the perspective of my new specs.. LOL

VC Dinner @ Hotpot Culture

woke up at 12.30 today and went for lunch at S11 foodcourt.. went back home to watch abit of ironman before going to SLS with dad to deliver some stuff.. walked over to bugis junction to meet baby after that and then walked over to suntec to walk about.. went to the arcade and tried our luck at those claw machines.. and baby won us 2 stitches (stitch as in lilo and stitch)!

walked over to marina square and went to the restraunt first.. the others came after awhile and soon, we were ready to order.. all of us ordered the ala carte buffet and placed or orders.. in the meantime, we went and helped ourselves to the buffet spread, which was quite pathetic.. at hotpot culture, each of us got a mini steam boat instead of us all sharing one.. everyone's soup came but mine, Noel's, Suan's and PH's.. so we had to ask them for it.. the service was not really bad, but the kitchen was.. really slow and messy.. we were almost full by the food from the pathetic buffet spread when the food started arriving.. and all at 1 shot i might add.. so 3 plates of everything started arriving and we were so full that we couldent finish..

they charged wastage at the regular ala carte price.. so we put everything into the macdonald's cups that we bought earlier.. LOL! PuiYe was like using the spoon to compress the rice into the cup to fit more inside.. LOL!

after much laughter from a super high Josias, we all went our seperate ways and then off to home..

badminton with VC

woke up at 7 today and got to school at 8 to pei baby.. went for wireless tech lab after that and learnt how to use a PC to communicate with a phone.. we used an old nokia 6210 for it.. its been a very long time since i touched one of those phones.. haha! played snake II on it for awhile before starting on the lab..

went for lec after lab, but teacher was absent.. so went for lunch with KW instead.. after another short lec, went to buy my books from iHub before going to cyber.. chilled and helped YaWen with the intro meeting powerpoint before going to the sports hall to play badminton.. we booked the court for 3 hours and i stayed throughout.. played alot and sweated like a pig.. haha! Josias was easily the best there.. we were all dressed casually, and he came in full badminton gear.. LOL! brought 2 expensive racquets (1 balanced, 1 smash), and totally owned us all..

sent baby home via cab today as we were super tired

i realised that i didnt blog yesterday! hahaha.. totally forgot man.. anyway, yesterday.. woke up at 8, got to school at 9 for asp programing.. went for lec and apel before going to outside baby's classroom to wait for her.. was supposed to go have lunch, but everywhere was so crowded, we spend our time with 2 classmates in an empty classroom.. went back to cyber after that and shot the EU forum which was super stressful.. i was the only photographer present and it was so important.. the principal was making his appearance, and so is the EU foreign delegate to Singapore.. total OMGness..

the talk was ok.. quite short.. Alvin suggested that we go out to catch His Excellency walking out of the audi, but because of that, we missed the token of appreciation presentation =( we gorged ourselves on the buffet there before we all went back to cyber.. sent baby back home before going to NSRCC to bowl.. havent casually bowled for more than a month! haha..

today, woke up at 12 and went for lunch at geylang.. slacked at home and watched a movie before going out again at night to pick up my mum and go for dinner at curry wok.. my parents dropped me off at suntec where i met up with Dickson, YaWen and SuanYang.. Dickson just attained his Divine God status (1D mkIIn).. so with 2 pro-bodies, 1 semi-pro, and 1 enthusiast, we walked up the expressway to shoot the Singapore flyer.. after that, walked to the flyer's center to shoot abit more before we all went home
