woke up at 9, got to school at 10 for mobcomp.. the usual long long talk before our lab, then we did our projects.. finished up 2 of the 3 databases, and linked them to the website via servlets ..

went down to cc to have lunch with Suan Dickson and YaWen.. then had abit of help regarding emaths2 from Noel, whom i really really want to thank because i breezed through the paper today.. should be able to pass! hahahaha.. went back to cc after the test, and then went opposite to prata paradise for dinner..

had the usual cheese chocolate prata, and an additional sup kambing with rice.. tried their black spider, and i dont think i'll have that in awhile.. haha

woke up at 7, went to school at 8 for another torturous session of ewebapps.. im really starting to hate the tutor.. he likes threatening people.. someone would be late, and he would ask for a reason.. before the person can reply, he would shout at him/her: 'I ASKED YOU A QUESTION!'.. moron..

moving on, stayed back after class, and completed the template for the web page.. went to cc to rush Noel to get the proposal done.. haha! and then went for lunch before going for the makeup lesson of wireless.. we were using some old nokia handphones for the lab and we were all playing with the oldie ringtones.. haha!

went for ASP after that, and got the masterpage up also.. used some of my own pics for the template.. totally love the template! haha.. i'd post pics of it, but my thumbdrive got infected by the damn computer and i dont want to plug it into my PC.. i'll have to reformat it with my mac first..

maths was canceled today.. so went back to cc and waited for dad to come pick me and my injured bike up.. went to Tay's with the intention of getting the $90 wheelset from the brother shop, but we bumped into Tay himself when i was taking out my frame and wheels from the car.. i think he remembers the bike and promptly picked it up after learning what happened from my dad, and took it to his shop.. he took a bike from the rack, and told the mech to take the wheelset out and put it on my bike.. total cost was $150.. should have gone to the brother shop.. he says that the wheelset is a notch better than my ex wheelset..

cycled home and felt the bike ride like never before.. everything was so precise and smooth.. totally love it and cannot wait to take it on a trail.. haha! had dinner at home and then studied maths~~~

woke up at 12.30 today! hung around the house doing nothing till about 2 when my mum came back with lunch.. then just spent my time at home.. felt pissed of for the good part of the day because of my wheelset.. brooding over how much i've spent on the damn thing..

75 bucks for the marzocchi fork
70 bucks for the maxxis Larson TTs
36 bucks for the lights (both of which mounts broke in the crash)

and now i'll have to fork out a minimum of 90 bucks for the cheapest wheelset.. so that got me thinking.. why not just get a whole new bike? i know i want a full suspension system.. but that would set me back at least 2k for a decent one.. but will this be a worthwhile investment? will i keep up this interest?

anyway, moving on, went for dinner at a fine dining restaurant at bukit timah called riders cafe.. had their grilled chilean codfish for $28.. dad had their rack of lamb ($32) and bro had their ribeye ($28).. coupled my main dish with a vanilla milkshake and a 'death-by-chocolate cake'.. the food was great, but it took ages to arrive.. they served us bread sticks 3 times during our wait.. haha.. at least it was free..

went to school on the hardtail on friday morning and dumped everything at CC before going to class.. after class, went to catch hellboy 2 with baby at GV.. the movie was quite good.. i would recommend that you watch it.. haha..

went to meet Suan, Josias and KaiXin at waterloo where Jo got his helmet, tires and pads.. i then sent baby home, then went back to school to get my bike, then to Tay's to meet my dad.. got myself lights for the back and front of my bike, and new tires (Maxxis Larson TTs).. then went back to meet Suan, Josias and Geraldine.. after meeting them, went back to the bike shop to change the tire on the hardtail as the tire wall burst..

went back to school, then out again at about 11+ to go to simpang bedok.. a 5 bike convoy consisting of me, the leader, followed by Dickson, SuanYang, YaWen, and finally Josias, the sweeper.. my new front light is super bright.. and my tires are so damn smooth to use.. love them.. on the way back from supper, YaWen took a tumble from a method i told her time and time again to avoid.. haha

went to bathe at design school (amazon) with Suan and Jojo before sleeping.. woke up at 9-ish and then cycled to waterloo at 10.. reached at about 12.30, then went for desert at ice monster.. went to mum's shop for awhile also.. decided to go back through ECP and went for lunch at the food court..

on the way back, Dickson, who took Suan's bike out and complained about it so much that i consented to switch bike with him, got hit from behind by some foreign lady, causing my bike to fall to the ground with the lady and her steel bike on top of it.. Dickson got minor cuts and bruises, the idiot lady and her bloody steel bike was fine, but my rim was warped beyond repair.. so Dickson had to take a cab back to school while me and Jo cycled back..

after packing up everything and leaving school, me, Dickson and Jo went to Tay's to check the price of a new set of hubs, spokes, and rims.. the cheapest we could find was 90 bucks.. dammit..

busy busy busy

been quite busy lately.. so havent been blogging.. actually.. who am i kidding.. im just plain lazy arent i? LOL!

spent a normal day at school on tuesday.. sent baby home after school.. wednesday, i ended at 11, and waited at cyber till about 4+ when Suan Yang finally came in and passed me my new fork! so went straight to Tay's to get it fixed on.. the main shop actually wanted to charge me 40 bucks because i was on V-brakes and not discs.. so i tried the sub branch (the low scale one) and they charged 20.. so got it fixed there, but found out that the fork is abit too long.. so an additional 5 bucks for a spacer solved it..

cycled back and then went for dinner with Dickson and Josias at prata paradise.. met Suan for awhile so that he could inspect my bike, then went off to tamp safra to see them bowl.. cycled home after that..

sunday: got up at 12 and went to PS to change my reservoir.. actually the salesperson didnt let me change it.. but due to my mum's constant nagging, he gave in and changed a new one for me.. went to parkway to get my bro's eyes checked and did some shopping before going home.. bought a new pair of Vans and a helmet..

today: woke up at 7.. and was on the way to school when i decided that i couldnt go due to diarrhea.. so went back home and rest before going to school again to see if i could attend any lessons.. but didnt in the end and went to the doctors after school with my dad and bro.. during school, we tried out Josias's new bike which he bought yesterday.. improved on my track-stand slightly also..

went to have dinner at the round market after the doctors.. i actually wanted to drag my dad to look at the forks at Tay's, but they were already closed due to the long wait that we had to endure at the doctors.. which brings me to another point.. there was this book of puzzles and such.. why do idiots have to use pens to circle out all the answers to the puzzles?! have these people no life and are trying to make the others wait in the waiting room even more boring than it already is?
