todays been damn boring.. i got up at 11 and went for lunch at the round market (tampinesians should know where tht is.. haha!) for lunch before going bowling.. todays the first time bowling after last sundays disastrous tourney and todays not much better anyway.. 4 games, highest 128.. only 1 word.. CHUI!

went home after that and slacked around till 3.45 before leaving the house to meet the gang at CS coffee bean.. supposed to meet at 3 but dragged till 4.. and not everyone arrived till about 5.45.. LOL! zach is late as usual.. had a ice blended mocha Xtreme today.. and i must say, the 80c more for the extreme is well worth it! increase the flavour and taste by a noticeable margin.. me and YH slacked around till about 5 when jeff arrived.. used my com in the meantime.. i was bored and so i did a speed test on the wireless@SG hotspot.. turns out that their speed is only 200kbps.. like shit lah!

went swimming with the guys at NSRCC today.. everyone brought swimming gear and stuff except andrew.. so he went back home to get it while we went to NSRCC first..

played foosball again while we waited for andrew.. i swear.. that game is growing on me.. i think we spent about 20+ bucks on the friggin game.. haha.. jeffery kept making us laugh and we cant play properly.. i team with him kana trash by YH and Zach 7 - 0.. wtf.. haha

when andrew turned up, we went to change and proceded to swim.. theres this one traumatising moment where zach was eyeballing this gal with a devil's figure.. and he say he got stomach ache.. so he proceded to hoist himself out of the water.. and OMG, he was steaming.. and i was the only person who saw it.. TRAUMATISATION

after a quick dip in the jacuzzi, we went back to the toilet.. the guys actually wanted to go into the steam bath/suana thingy.. so we went in, and out again in less than a minuite.. dunnu why.. jus went out again.. haha..

went for a quick meal after our bath.. 5 plates of nasi lemak and some drinks.. we then proceded to waste more money on the foosball table..

i then spent 4 bucks taking a cab home.. and upon reaching, i found out that my dad was at NSRCC all along.. didnt have to waste my money on cab.. FUCK man..

everytime i view someones account, theres sure to be 3 digits in their friends and comment section.. some even 4.. and mine is stuck at 2.. even after struggling since sec 2 to try to increase them :'(

anyway, back on topic.. i had to go to school early becos the wrtorial teacher wanted to have a makeup lesson on account that thursday's class will be cancelled due to vesak day.. so we had to go to school 2 hours earlier for the makeup lesson..

after the makeup lesson, we had a half hour break during which we went for lunch before the last 11 of the class were to go for our webapps test.. heard that the rest of them went to safra to slack(?).. and i also heard that ye hui smoked at the bus stop while waiting for bus or something.. hmm~

the webapps test was the easiest test i took in my entire life.. i only took about 45 mins to complete.. thats less than half the time given leh.. so i left the class with mark and headed down to short circuit to slack.. the rest of the class joined us a short while later and we ended up playing cards there..

after maths tutorial, the guys headed down to the library to have another discussion about the class chalet..

Class chalet??

me and the guys were discussing about having a class chalet to help our class bond with each other.. so after school today we went to the library to have a discussion about it..

today we pretty much decided that the chalet would be held at aloha loyang (hopefully J would help us make the booking as he has discounted rate).. the places we discussed were NSRCC, aloha changi, DT east, costa sands etc..

school started at 9 today and we had our graded lab.. i had to help YH and Jeff with their circuits cos they dont know how to wire it up (useless).. and L helped with the rest of the questions esp the boolean and shit..

me and YH headed to TM to slack while the others went for the lectures.. YH went to buy some ear studs and i got marcus a birthday present.. we then went to coffee bean to wait for zach..

OH MAH GAWD... the funbowl today was a total disaster.. i know it says 'fun bowl', but its actually an all out competition of the best bowlers in NSRCC.. winner gets $200 cash.. 54 people took part and guess where i came in? BLOODY 52!! OMG LAH!! my life is crashing down before my eyes.. if thats not bad enough.. guess who beat me? MY OWN BROTHER!!

my life is now meaningless...

actually, i got a higher total pinfall than my bro, but he got a 60 pin handicap.. basket.. so he higher than me..

the fun bowl was a 6 game series, highest score wins.. my lane (7, 8) had 6 people in total, mainly teens.. theres this one girl who's ******* were quite big.. and turns out that shes only sec 2.. *stunned silence*.. anyway, back to topic, i bowled 128, 195, 163, 172, 138, 103.. and i still got 3rd last.. can u believe that? OMG.. failure..

nothing to blog about

todays been SUPER boring.. got up at 8.30 to get ready for bowling training, which in my opinion, was totally useless today.. no lines to follow, no restrictions.. never learn much sia..

went back home and slept for 5 friggin hours..

after that went to pick mum up and went for dinner at Curry Wok.. went home for awhile and then went bowling again.

Aston's Specialities yet again

todays been quite ok.. went to school for comprog lesson and all the guys were anticipating the aston's trip later already.. so we skipped both the lectures and took a cab down to katong instead.. since we could not book, i figured that we'd better get down there as early as possible to avoid the que..

when we reached there the shop was not even opened yet.. so we headed to katong mall to walk around.. after awhile, we went over to aston's and we were the 1st customers for the day.. haha.. not that big a deal.. after 10 minuits, the whole shop was full already.. i swear..

so everyone ordered the steak that i featured in my previous entries about aston's (prime cut ribeye) except for andrew who ordered their black pepper steak.. i THINK the guys enjoyed the steak.. right guys!?

we then went over to NSRCC to fool around the pool center and arcade.. had ALOT of fun playing foosball.. haha..

after that i went home to prepare for the bowling team briefing i had at 6pm.. the coach wanted to talk to us and stuff.. so yea.. daddy picked me up and we went to katong for dinner again.. EXACT same area.. except we went for indian food.. astons was only like 100meters away.. and after that, i went over to NSRCC again (2nd time making the same trip in a day!) to bowl.. crappy lanes today.. damn patchy.. reaction not constant

I GOT INTO THE BOWLING TEAM!!

YESSAH!!! I MADE IT!!! after such a long and impatient wait, they finally put up the notice regarding who made it into the team. i actually thought that the intake was 24 guy AND 24 girls.. it turns out that it was 24 guy AND girls.. but nevertheless, I MADE IT!!!

out of the 12 boys who made it, 4 of them bowled at lane 13 (my lane).. LOL!! so i guess 13's not unlucky afterall.. 4 out of the 6 who bowled there got in.. the other 2 being the 2 nerds i was talking about on the day of the trial..

ok.. so school today was a drag.. dad was busy again so i had to take another cab down.. now that i think about it, i shouldent have even went.. only 2 hours of useless wrtorial lessons, after which, the last 11 people in the class register were free to go home.. the other 11 had a webapps test.. so me jeff and ray went to jupe to have lunch and then over to my house..

we then went over to TM to meet ye hui, zach and andrew to watch pirates of the caribbean 3: at world's end.. DAMN nice movie.. i strongly recommend you to watch this.. its a 3 hr long movie and EVERY PART OF IT WAS WORTH IT!! SERIOUSLY good movie.. i'd give it 4.5/5 stars..

the 5 of us were planning to go to aston's to have lunch tomorrow after school.. so i tried to call them to make a reservation (its a MUST) but they told me that they were not taking any reservations.. basket.. so bo bian.. if they still wanna go down i guess that we have to take our chances..

we actually were planning to have dinner there.. but theres a meetup for the bowlers tomorrow at 6.. so have to go for lunch instead.. cant wait for my first official bowling training with the team.. sounds so cool lah.. Nick Teo from Team Temasek!!!

WTF!? 2 tests today and i think i flunked both of them..

got to school at 8.45 and went straight to for effcomm class.. we got back out test paper and i got 9/15.. WTF.. 9/15 for a test which asks you to complete the sentences!! oh, my, GOD!! seems everyone got higher than me.. and u know whats the worst part?? guess who got full marks and the highest in the class.. L!! HES FROM CHINA MAN!! WTF!?!?!?

so i'll let that slide.. quickly finished up the rest of the effcomm class and studied for engfund.. had some last minute revision before heading to the classroom for the test.. and all i can say is that it was A TOTAL DISASTER!! i forgot how to convert between the number sequences!! so the 1st question i never do any working but im sure i got the answers correct.. thanks to my HAX0Rz calculator.. the 2nd question was about the truth table and boolean.. that was quite ok.. the last question was left blank..

if thats not enough, maths test STRAIGHT after engfund.. qn 1 was quadratic eq and multiplication of fractions with algebra and shit.. 2nd was inverse matrices and last was about Gaussian.. i thought i did quite ok for the test untill Zach check his answers with me after the test.. seems that my answers are all different from his.. GOOD GAME!!

bowling: 158, 151, 111.. got a nasty chip on my ABS PinNavi thanks to the pin setter.. so i left it with uncle James (pro shop owner) to get it rectified.. my 1st ever ball ok.. so xin tong :'(

BOOOORING!

today was DAMN boring man.. so boring that there are absolutely NO PICTURES worth taking..

woke up at 9.30 and had to go to school myself FOR THE FIRST TIME OK!! (normally is daddy/mummy fetch me to school.. im so loved.. haha..) daddy was not free today so i took a cab to school.. didnt want to squeeze with people on the bus so early in the morning and besides, the walk from my house the the bus stop is not very near..

got to school and met up with chris, jeff and mark outside the LT and headed in for our maths lec.. YH never even bothered to show up till webapps which was after the lec. we revised our dreamweaver in preparation for the up coming lab test and went for maths tutorial afterwards..

i have like 2 tests tomorrow (maths and engfund) and im not really prepared yet.. shit.. i cleared up my doubts about matrices during maths tutorial, thanks to Zach and not the bloody tutor.

headed home with dinner for my lil bro. after dinner, we headed to NSRCC yet again.. haha.. my bro bought a new pair of bowling shoes and IM SO JELOUS!! i need 170 bucks ASAP man..

very eventful day

Todays been eventful.. started off when i woke up at 7.30 to get ready and put some finishing touches on the birthday card that i made for everyone in F703 to sign for Nazurah.. thats right.. its Naz's birthday!!

anyway, got to school at around 8.45 and met up with ye hui, jeff and cerise at the photocopy shop thingy becos cerise forgot to bring her engfund lab notes.. so were abit late, but we found the rest of the class still waiting outside the classroom.. so i passed the card around for everyone to sign and say whatever they want to Naz.. Mark had the cake ready and the whole class joined in to sing Naz her birthday song.. all this happened and why? because Gani never showed.. so cerise photocopied her lab notes for nothing.. summore, we were supposed to have our graded lab today..

so after waiting for him for about half an hour, we decided that he was not going to show.. so we the whole class went to cheers.. halfway there, Zach called us (he remained behind to wait for Gani) to tell us that he just got there.. bloody hell.. some of us decided to continue to cheers while the others went back to class. when we were done in cheers and heading back to class, the rest of the class turned up to tell us that class been canceled.. HAHA

so seeing that we had 1 and a half hour to waste, we decided to skip both the lectures that follows the lab.. ended school at 4 and headed to Jupe cafe for fries before heading home.

got home and bathed before heading to safra for bowling session again.. only today, i saw 3 people who looked vaguely familiar.. when i saw them waving at me, i decided to go say hi.. and i found out that they were bowling beside me yesterday at the trial.. HAHA!! small world.. so we bowled and chatted.. they're not really fantastic.. 3 guys, 1 boy and 1 mum.. all together about 8 balls, ALL from brunswick.. HAHA.. like sponsership sia.. haha..

i bowled 6 games today and 4 of them i scored above 160.. why didnt this happen yesterday!?!?!? bloody hell..

bowling trial

Ok.. so todays the day.. the day i prove myself to the bowlers on the temasek team. got up early to shine and polish all 3 of my (bowling) balls and left for safra at 9.45. the trial starts at 10.30 but i'm just nervous, i guess.. when i got there, they were oiling the lanes and some people from the team were already there..

sat around for about half an hour (they dont let me play warmups.. bastards..) before they started to collect money for the games.. by then, about 50 people had arrived.. not alot of pro bowlers (people with their own equipment) .. i'd say about 20 pros only.. so they collected the cash and assigned us with lanes.. i was the 2nd player for lane 13(unlucky??)

my lane was damn quiet.. got this pro bowler whos damn good called perry.. i thought he was very stuck up. he strike, i clap for him.. i strike he jus stone.. anyway, 6 people. stuck up guy, me, some nerdy dude and his friend who can't bowl for shit, a pretty decent house ball bowler, and a very quiet/relaxed chinese who looks like a malay (pro bowler)..

the trial was a 4 game series. anyone who hit 160 in any game will be accepted. so my game scores, in order, was 144, 103, 157 and 144 again.. after every round they would put up the list of scores and i ranked 11th for the 1st game, 18th for the 2nd, and 14th for the 3rd.. i didnt see the 4th scoresheet though.. but cannot be more than 24 right?? so i guess (and hope) that im in the team! i'll just have to wait till they put up the list of people up on the notice board before i know for sure.. keep your fingers crossed!!

Ok, so i've decided to just post the pics together with the text cos theres only 4 pics.. todays been an ENTIRE day of bowling for me.. morning had bowling training with uncle Yong at marine bowl.

after that we went to east coast lagoon food center for lunch (wanton mee from stall 45) before heading to NSRCC to bowl some more.. i got my new ball there for $125.. considered the SKULL ball (check my previous post HERE) but costs 2X the price.. so i got the target zone from brunswick instead..

after bowling at NSRCC, i went home for a short nap (DAMN tiring ok..) before going for dinner at IKEA.. after ikea we went to safra tampines to check out the conditions for tomorrow's bowling trial.. SOOOO NERVOUS!!! i just HAVE to get into the team man.. im like SOO desperate.. hope all the noobs turn up tomorrow.. safras opening at 10AM tomorrow and i'm going to be there when they do so that i can have a couple of warm up games before the trial..

short post.. i know.. but i've gotta go to sleep.. cant risk being lethargic tomorrow.. THATS HOW SERIOUS I AM OK..
