Technology sucks
i had to print out a single page document just now.. and it took me 2 hours, 3 computers, and 2 printers to do it.. computers were invented to solve problems.. but more than half the time, they are the problem..

went to school on friday normally and presented for wireless.. after presentation, went home to cycle my bike to school.. just hung around for the rest of the day and slept for awhile at the darkroom..
at about 7, we all went to tay cycle to look at the bikes there, then followed by dinner at the new Aston's outlet (Astons Express) at the round market coffee shop.. it was a first time eating at Astons for many, and i'm glad to say that they were not disappointed! hahaha.. caught Hancock after that till 1+.. the movie was reasonably good, but we were sitting so far in front that i was dizzy by the time it ended..
woke up at 8 today and had a briefing for the day camp before we got into our groups and all the freshies started coming in.. i was with Janis in group 1.. and our 8 freshies named ourselves 'TootBrush'.. had lots of fun and some slight miscommunication along the way.. the photo-hunt was probably the most fun of all.. we found all but 6 locations, and to top it off, my group was so 'on' that we ran all the way back to the lounge to be the 1st team there and win 10 extra points!
so in the end, i'm really really glad to say that TootBrush WON FIRST PRIZE!! super glad and proud of them! you guys rock!
after packing up everything, we took a bus to simpang bedok for a farewell dinner to our fellow members going for their SIP.. wanted to eat at Spize, but the wait was 1hr.. so had dinner at the sub-par stores next to it before going home

didnt do much for the whole week.. just went to school, and then went home.. went for my 2nd bowling roll off on wed.. bowled with the likes of Theodor and Marc Wee.. didnt bowl up to my expectations again =(
today, went to school and just lazed around.. had a presentation for public speaking and then went to do project with classmates before going home..
nothing interesting is happening to me! tomorrow we're going to stay over at CC followed by the VC camp on the following day.. guess thats something to look forward to =/

lost
have you ever had the feeling that no one understands you and that you have nowhere and no one to turn to?
i realised that i totally forgot to blog for the past few days.. hahaha.. so here goes:
on saturday, went to school at 10 for a meeting with the main comm.. it was by far the most productive meeting (IMO).. after that, i helped with the last session of the BPW.. 36 people turned up..
after the BPW, i went home and packed everything for the next day's cycle to ubin.. slept at about 1+ and woke up at 5+.. prepared, and then cycled alone to changi village.. i was expecting an hour of travel time there, but it only took half of that.. so i was super early and had to wait for the rest to arrive.. we had breakfast there, then cycled to the jetty to take the boat across to ubin.. after we got off and Alvin got his bike, we cycled to ketam quarry where there was a bike trail..
Suan Yang tried to clear a titter totter on Dickson's encouragement, and fell off it pretty bad.. he cut himself quite deep and there was lots of blood.. so we helped him wash the wound, remove the small stones that were lodged in there, and used 2 packets of tissue to stem the bleeding.. meanwhile, me and Alvin went to look for help and bumped into some aussies who gave us a pressure bandage which we used to hold the tissues in place over the wound..
we cycled back to the jetty where we looked for the coast guard for first aid.. after that, we didnt really do anything exciting except to go up and down a downhill course 3 times.. it was super fun man.. cannot wait to do it again.. had lunch at a seafood restaurant before going back home..
